Refund Policy

1. Overview

Hill Technology provides custom software development and related professional services. Because our work is bespoke and labor-based, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis according to the terms below and the applicable service agreement.

2. Service Eligibility

  • Discovery & consulting fees: generally non-refundable once the engagement has begun, as time has already been allocated.
  • Fixed-scope projects: if Hill Technology fails to deliver agreed milestones and the issue cannot be remedied, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for undelivered work.
  • Hourly engagements: billed time that has already been performed and logged is non-refundable. Unused prepaid hours may be credited or refunded at our discretion.
  • Retainers & subscriptions: may be cancelled for future billing periods. The current period is non-refundable once it has started, unless required by law.
  • Third-party costs: fees paid to third-party platforms, vendors, or licenses on your behalf are non-refundable.

3. Non-Refundable Items

  • Completed and accepted deliverables.
  • Work performed at your written direction or approval.
  • Delays caused by missing client feedback, content, or access.
  • Custom assets, licenses, or hosting already procured for the project.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@hilltechnolog.com within 14 days of the invoice or charge in question. Please include:

  • The invoice number or order reference.
  • The date and amount of the charge.
  • A brief explanation of the issue.

We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days and resolve them within 14 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

5. Dispute Resolution

We prefer to resolve concerns directly and quickly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the terms of the applicable service agreement and our Terms & Conditions will govern.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
